A Cold April.

’twas a bleak and rainy day.

Just how I love them.

My mother and I were supposed to go off to Villa.

“Take some coffee coins, we’ll have a drink after we’re done shopping,” said my mother to me as I am the coins for coffee machines keeper. I still have them (and more) as we didn’t get to use them then.

Reflections, and the noses of my winter boots. I’m wearing my winter boots because they were the only ones to stay dry in such weather. I really need a pair of wellies.

Old Orhei: First for last.

A~nd the last Orhei post, with two sad photos. It used to house videos, but after all the imports and exports and moves, the videos got lost somewhere in transition.

This is the view of Old Orhei from the main road and the very first two pictures I took. They’re taken with DMC-LC5 instead of my usual PowerShot A460. Both the church and the chapel I ended up visiting can be seen rather clearly.

The stony wall is the remains of some fortification, if I’m not mistaken — and I can very well be. I only have one book that mentions Old Orhei, and it’s mostly in passing.

Also, I absolutely love the tree-branches-framing-the-shot thing, and I take many of these, even though I realise it’s terribly cliche.
