Old Orhei Revisited, Part Two.

As we’ve established last time, the reason for visiting Old Orhei back in June was my cousin’s wedding. So most of the party climbed up for a decent photoshoot. At first I attempted to follow suit.

Partly because I was a little afraid of these guys.

Old Orhei: First for last.

A~nd the last Orhei post, with two sad photos. It used to house videos, but after all the imports and exports and moves, the videos got lost somewhere in transition.

This is the view of Old Orhei from the main road and the very first two pictures I took. They’re taken with DMC-LC5 instead of my usual PowerShot A460. Both the church and the chapel I ended up visiting can be seen rather clearly.

The stony wall is the remains of some fortification, if I’m not mistaken — and I can very well be. I only have one book that mentions Old Orhei, and it’s mostly in passing.

Also, I absolutely love the tree-branches-framing-the-shot thing, and I take many of these, even though I realise it’s terribly cliche.
